Peppermint Oil

Peppermint oil is commonly used for relaxation and reducing stress, and there’s actually evidence that it can help with tension headaches, abdominal pain, and digestion problems.Making your own peppermint oil at home is really simple.

Ingredients- 

  • Uptown Fresh peppermint leaves
  • Any vegetable oil (olive oil, coconut oil)
  • A glass jar

Directions- 

  • Take the fresh peppermint leaves and wash them under water. Let the leaves dry. 
  • Take a spoon, knife or pestle to crush the leaves. Don’t chop into little pieces. 
  • Take the kar and add the crushed leaves in it and add the oil till the leaves get covered. Don’t fill up the whole jar. 
  • Seal the jar nice and tight. Keep it for atleast 24 hours or for extra potency wait for 3 days. 
  • After the waiting period is over strain the leaves into a separate bowl or cup. 
  • Repeat the same process again if you need more. 
  • Your easy DIY peppermint oil is ready.
