Club Sandwich

Club sandwich is a type of sandwich that is popular.

Ingredients- 

  • Uptown fresh romaine lettuce 4-8 leaves.
  • 6 slices of bread your choice
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise 
  • 1 garlic medium chopped 
  • 1 cup cabbage 
  • 1/2 cup bell pepper/ capsicum 
  • 1 onion medium, thinly sliced 
  • 1 carrot medium sized 
  • 1 tbsp oil (any vegetable oil)
  • 1/2 tsp pepper 
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 tomato medium 
  • 4-8 leaves of romaine lettuce 
  • 1 potato medium, sliced and boiled 

Direction- 

  • Slice potato to 1/4 inch thick pieces and boil them until just cooked. Drain the water and set aside. 
  • Prepare lettuce by rising under running water drain and set aside.
  • Wash and shred cabbage, carrot, onion, and other veggies you prefer. 
  • Toast bread until crisp and set aside. 
  • Heat the same pan with oil and fry the boiled potato slices until crisp on both the slides. Sprinkle some salt if desired. Set these aside.
  • Add garlic and sauté for a minute. 
  • Add all the veggies except tomatoes. Sauté on high flame for 3-4 minutes. Add a little pepper and salt. 
  • Spread Mayo on all slices on one side. 
  • Place lettuce on one slice, then roast potatoes, pepper and pinch of salt, then tomatoes. 
  • On the second slice, place lettuce & stir fried veggies. Cover the filling with mayo side down. 
  • Secure the sandwich with sandwich picks and then cut the sandwich to halves or quarters. 
  • Your sandwich is ready.
